Drusillas

Drusillas is a great child orientated Zoo with around 100  different animal species. Excellent children’s play areas and picnic areas too.

St Anns Well Gardens

Is home to a range of exotic and  native trees. Has many attractions including a sensory garden for visually impaired people.Plus a large playground and Tennis Courts. Great park for family picnics.

Queens Park - Brighton

Situated in the heart of Brighton, easy access by buses. Offers something  for all the family. Beautiful landscape gardens, with wildlife, a great lake is one of the parks attractions, and a scented garden. Tennis courts, Bowling Green and childrens playground and shop.

Stanmer Park - Falmer Brighton

A huge park and formally a private estate and village. Comprises of  Fantastic environment for woodland walks and picnics.  Park features include popular tea shop, Football pitches and Stanmer plant nursery and church.

The Level - Brighton

Large park ideal for children of all ages with toddler and older children play area. Plus skate board park for the older ones. Swimming Pool is open during the summer months.

Dyke Road Park

Good play ground and play area for children. Nearby for Booth Museum to complement a family day out. Attractions include a bowling green, football pitch tennis courts and cafe.

Hove Lagoon - Hove

Hove Lagoon is great for the whole family. Fantastic children’s play area with a pool which is opened during the summer months. Skate park for the older children and Hove lagoon watersports offering facilities including wind surfing. More features include a cafe, boules,   and the hove seafront is a stone throw away.

Pavilion Park - Brighton

In the heart of Brighton Pavilion park backs on to Brighton Museum and the Pavillion. A small park ideal for picnics or relaxing after a heavy lunch. Very popular all year round especially during the summer bands when bands are playing.

Preston Park - Brighton

A massive family park. Home to weekly football matches, cricket, Bowling, Tennis, multi sports area,  Children’s play ground with good equipment and 2 cafes.  The park includes beautifully restored gardens and fine trees.

Foredown Tower

Visit Foredown Tower and see one of the best view all around brighton. Beautifully restored water tower is just outside brighton, perfectly placed for country walks and picnics.

Brighton and Hove provides over 11km of beaches, family entertainment, night life, restaurants and all year round activities.

Brighton Beach - Brighton

Walk along the Brighton beach with the West Pier behind you to get to the children’s play area. Extremely popular, and crowded during the summer. Well equipped with good attractions for children from 0 -5 years. Including a huge paddling pool and shower, sandpit, slides, cafes, toilets, and located right next to the beach. Great brighton attraction for all the family.

Hove Beach - Hove

Hove Beach is a few kilometer’s along from Brighton. Less crowded than brighton beach. Good beach with some sand in places. Various cafes along the promenade, toilets and Hove lawns. 

Volleyball

Children can learn beach sports activities and skills at Yellowave.  Drop in sessions and Holiday activities are available.

Brighton Pier

Open from 10am each day. Brighton Pier has various attractions for all the family. Including a new ride ghost train ‘ The Horror Hotel’, childrens rides, free entertainment, restaurants and much more!
